Our onsite explorer character, Eddie, is looking forward to meeting families and getting children to use all of their senses to go on an adventure to find the lions that have just moved into the area. PR & Events Officer, Bethan Davis, said, “ We’re really excited to offer our guests some extra lion-themed things to do as part of their visit to us this summer. ‘Roar & Explore’ will run for the whole of August, coinciding with the school summer holidays and celebrates the official opening of the Park’s brand-new lion habitat, Lion Ridge.įamilies will be able to take part in a whole host of lion-themed activities, as well as being able to learn about lions and their threats in the wild at a Conservation Station.Īctivities include a scratch card trail, photo competition and a multi-sensory, interactive, live trail where families will go on an adventure with Eddie the Explorer, to find the lions.
